Life Coaching Policies

SCHEDULING 

Session time and length are agreed upon and can be tracked through the Google Calendar linked to the client's email account.  The client can opt-in to both email and SMS reminders, and can also set their own notifications on Google Calendar.
 

Please allow 7 days for significant scheduling change requests. 
 

 PAYMENT

The client or their payor is expected to pay in advance, either for the upcoming month or prior to each session. Monthly payment plans will be charged for the upcoming month's scheduled sessions. Any additional time rendered will be applied to the following invoice. Checks or credit card payments are accepted. 


Payments are due on the 1st day of the month, invoices will be sent one week before the due date. Invoices can also be viewed at any time on the client's (or their parents/payor's) Tutorbird portal. If payment is not received by the 10th, a $100 late fee will be incurred. 


 You are highly encouraged to set up auto-pay through your Tutorbird account if choosing to make monthly payments. Once auto-pay is selected, you will be sent a monthly invoice and your card on file will be charged for the balance due. Any credits or charges resulting from differences in rendered time throughout the month will be applied to your next invoice. Please reach out to Adrianna if you need assistance setting up your Tutorbird autopay feature.

 * If payment is not received by the 15th of the month, services may be suspended.


 CANCELLATION POLICY AND MAKE-UP SESSIONS

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, you have up to 24 hours before the scheduled session to provide fair notice and you can do so by sending a text message to Adrianna at (720)298-4247. 

If you cancel a session within 24 hours of the appointment time or fail to show up at the scheduled time of the session, it will be considered a no-show. The first no-show (each quarter) will be charged at your hourly rate, and you'll be granted a make-up session. Following late cancel/no-show appointments will be charged at your session rate (make-ups will not be granted beyond the first instance).  

 If fair notice of absence is provided (>24 hours notice), you will be charged at your hourly rate and your account will receive a make-up credit. You can use this credit to book a make-up session or apply the credit to the next month’s invoice.

 You are responsible for getting make-ups scheduled. Unused credits will expire at the end of each quarter.

 Fees are calculated according to the times stipulated in the schedule and no adjustment shall be made because of the late arrival by the client.

 If the client is more than 15 minutes late to the appointment without notice, the session will be considered a no-show.


 Once the Client accumulates 3 no-shows, late cancellations and/or schedule change requests, the parent  and coach will have a mandatory problem-solving call, and a discontinuation of services will be considered.

   

CANCELLATION OF LESSONS BY COACH

 If I need to cancel a session, I will do my best to give 24-hour notice to the client.

 If proper notice is given, you will be granted a credit to schedule a make-up session. 

 If I need to cancel and 24-hour notice cannot be given, I will offer a make up credit, or the cost of that session be will credited to the following month’s invoice should the client choose not schedule a make-up session within that month. 


COMMUNICATIONS/ADDITIONAL TIME 

   

Please note that you will be charged for communication needs, including support given outside of session, and scheduling resolutions and communications (via text, email, or phone call), that extend beyond the need for a simple response. 

   

 Communication through email is preferred and a call may be encouraged depending on the nature of the communication. Please reserve texting for time-sensitive communications.

   

 Additional Time will be billed at the session rate. 




OBLIGATIONS OF THE COACH AND CLIENT

A) Coach agrees to the ethics and standards of behavior established by thee International Federation for Coaching (IFC). 


(B) Client agrees to communicate honestly, and be open to feedback and suggestions and fully engage with the coaching process. 


(C) Client should participate in remote sessions from a quiet location where they can be seated at a desk and ready to engage with minimal distractions.


(D) Client must have access to a laptop or tablet with a working camera and microphone and Zoom installed to join our remote sessions (where applicable). 

         

E) Client agrees to track sessions through Google Calendar (or their Tutorbird account).



NO WARRANTIES

Striped Coaching LLC and Alexandra Hackett make no promises or warranties with regard to any specific outcomes resulting from Client's participation in coaching.

          

TERMINATION OF SERVICES

Services may be terminated at any time. Either party may terminate the agreement by giving the other 10 business days’ prior written notice.

If proper notice has been given, the client will receive a full refund for the remaining sessions in that month.

If less than 10 business days’ notice is given, the client will receive a 50% refund for the remaining sessions.
